We are building a new plant in Uddevalla which will operate with Scandinavian Enviro Systems leading technology for recovering end of life tyres. About the role
The role as Production Engineer will be to provide input for our production facility using your technical expertise. You will work cross-functionally, solving complex problems together with colleagues. You are an important part of the team that is in contact with the entire production and supports and educates in daily technical issues.
Acting as the primary point of contact from the Engineering team in the event of machine issues, you will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing the performance and yield of production lines. Identifies areas with potential for improvement, contributes to continuous development.
Key responsibilities
Continuously monitor production processes to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing deviations that may affect efficiency or quality.
Serve as a key technical resource for the operations team, assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of production issues that require process adjustments or maintenance interventions.
Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Work closely with development engineers and the maintenance departments on projects, providing expertise in production engineering to ensure successful outcomes.
Maintain detailed documentation of production changes, process performance, and operational outcomes. Analyze data to recommend further enhancements.

Qualifications and experience
Relevant education in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related work experience.
Ability to monitor and analyze production processes effectively.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Willingness to work hands-on in the production environment.
Proficient in IT and with an open mindset towards new tools.
Strong verbal, written communication skills in Swedish and English.

Tyre Recycling Uddevalla AB is part of a new joint venture initiative, promoted and owned by Antin Infrastructure Partners, a leading infrastructure investment fund, Scandinavian Enviro System, a Swedish technology company that has developed a unique and patented technology for the extraction of carbon black and pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tyres, and Michelin, a leading worldwide manufacturer of tyres. The aim of the joint venture is to create the world's first large-scale tyre recycling group, entirely powered by Enviro proprietary technology and whose first plant is the one being built in Uddevalla.
The vision is to create a cleaner and greener world by reducing the environmental impact of tire waste, while offering a profitable and sustainable solution for tire recycling that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.
