Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.
We are looking for a Production Engineer who will support the production of the customized orders. This time we mainly need support on planning side. To handle and plan incoming orders according to current production situation and to create an optimized time plan with all aspects considered. The position also includes support and coordinate of the ongoing production for customization orders both in the standard line and on a dedicated custom area, as is the handling of shipping of the finished product.
What You'll Do
CBS is an organization within Life Sciences Bioprocess delivering customized bioprocess hardware. Internally we have a matrix organization where each customer order becomes a project with resources from project management, lead system design, detailed design, manufacturing transfer, sourcing and verification. Our global customers have high expectations of quality and lead-time which creates a very positive and dynamic project delivery focus and team working environment.

Handle incoming orders, plan for how and when to manufacture them with regards to the production slot systems and the CBS area.
Create an initial time plan for projects to hand over to assigned Project Manager.
Support planning of CBS area slot system.
Support ongoing CBS production coordination.
Update the Design and Production Schedule with status of all CBS orders in Umeå.
Support the CBS Umeå Shipping process from UPE.
Quote support for production lead time questions. Propose best production route.


Who you are
Engineering degree from university or similar qualification from working experience.
Minimum 2 years working experience.
Good English both spoken and written.
Excellent administrative and planning skills.
Good communication skills and excellent team working skills
