Production Engineer

The production unit in Timrå, Swedish Lean award winner 2017, is now searching for a new Senior production engineer.

In this role you will be working in our production engineering team and collaborate with many other departments to support the production unit to reach defined targets and develop into the future.

As a senior production engineer, you will be responsible for introducing new products in production, support production with tool investments and systematic problem solving as well as develop the production and logistic processes.

You will have an important role in a fast-moving company where you will learn and develop for the future.

Key duties
Support in develop, optimize, and maintain operations to reach strategic targets
Follow up on plans and act when needed
Coordinate and prioritize together with all departments within the production unit
Contribute to and act as project manager for projects concerning the production, including product introductions to ensure timely and effective product launches
Take lead in and drive any improvement projects within the unit, act as change leader
Lead the Operations Excellence effort to become a world-class business partner to the European sales companies

Qualifications
You have a university degree in science or engineering and some years work experience as production engineer or equal. You are very well familiar with lean principles and how to practice them.

As a person you are a team-oriented problem solver with organizing skills and attention to detail. You have great communication and leader skills, which you will use daily. You have an ambition to grow and develop with the company and to teach and develop the people around you are part of your personality.

You are fluent in oral and written Swedish and English.
