Production Engineer

Poolia Life Science & Engineering is now looking for a skilled Production Engineer.

Main accountabilities:

Reliability/Productivity
- The position includes managing and developing the production process for the filling and associated documentation responsibilities.
- Monitor the development of technology in the business area
- Monitor the productivity targets/trends of Yield, OEE and other KPI:s
- Perform assignments and improvement activities
- Lead/participate in projects
- Manage Change Control activities or actions within the workplace in Uppsala
- Lead and or participate in work with continuous improvements, process equipment/systems, methods, procedures, calibration and maintenance methods
- The company in question invest in new machinery. The first machine has arrived and more will come soon. The role includes working with both new and old machinery until the old machinery has been phased out

Procedures
- Assist in the maintenance of local procedures, work instructions and associated documentation
- Update, Create, Review and approval of manufacturing methods, methods, instructions, Temporary methods and ensure changes are correctly implemented
- Issue, review and approve technical and quality management documents.

Quality activities
- Provide input into projects, change management, complaints, recalls, internal Quality groups, supplier team and ensure internal quality standards are adhered to.
- Assist the Production Engineer team according to priority plan
- Perform periodical reviews within the Filling department
- Lead and or coordinate nonconformity investigations

Maintenance
- Control of the department's equipment (maintenance, calibration, qualification and re-qualification).

Training
- Train and guide staff with respect to methods, routines, processes and production equipment in Filling department
- Lead external contractors

Main interfaces/collaboration:
Functional Teams – Blister, Final Packaging, Production Technician, Quality Assurance, Quality Microbiology

Main performance measures:
Regional / local BQ and business objectives and deadlines
Quality issues managed and resolved effectively
GDP licences maintained Metrics
- Yield improvement completion
- Productivity actuals (Yield, OEE) within targets
- Nonconformity completion on time
- CC management completion/Approval
- Action closures
- Training timeliness
- Periodical reviews completion on time
- Maintenance activities on time

The position also requires fluency in English and Swedish.
