Production Engineer

Job description

Come and join our production team, Sigma Industry East North. We are looking for engineers who are interested in working in the industry with high pace, clear goals and strong team spirit.

Major changes are taking place in industry, electrification in the automotive sector is taking place at the same time as the transition to digitalisation.

In your role as a production engineer, you will work together with our customers to optimize and create added value in their daily operations. In the assignments, you will work with product and process development, machine investments, quality assurance, industrial IT and a working climate that is permeated by lean production and continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you as a person should be engaged, careful and driven by challenges, as well as feel comfortable in taking a big responsibility. It is of great importance that you have a positive and social side, easy to communicate and build relationships while putting great value into following processes and regulations. Working both independently and in teams is a matter of high importance.

Basic qualifications

Academic degree in relevant field such as production, industrial economics, machinery, logistics, maintenance or quality.

Good knowledge of English, both in speech and in writing

Work experience from the engineering, process or production industries is a merit

You should be able to work independently, structured and take initiative if necessary

You are social, positive and are happy to make new contacts

Flow- and process simulation, Extend Sim, DES

Layout 2D/3D

AviX (method, ergonomy och SMED)

Product preparation

Process management

Lean (5S, Kaizen, Kanban…)
