Production Engineer for Nobia

We are now establishing a new function within Supply Chain, focusing on continuous improvements and product engineering with the ambition to improve product efficiency and bring more value to market.

To succeed with the new function, we are looking for a highly talented Production Engineer who is a key player in working with continuous improvements in our factories.. You are a motivated individual with a strong engineering background to take on a challenging position and to build a solid platform for a long career within Nobia Group.

You will be part of the Region North Supply Chain ME team and report to our Maintenance Engineering Manager Patrik Mattsson. You will be based in Jönköping.

What you will do as a Production Engineer Identify value engineering opportunities and implement change.
Increase the profitability of production through streamlining with help of improvement work, new investments and changes in the process.
Manage projects for each opportunity.
Working with continuous improvements in our factories.
Analyze and initiate improvements and methods in production.
Working with industrialization of existing and new products.
Working with Lean activities to optimize lead-time and net working capital used in production.

How you qualify for the role
You most likely have 2-4 years’ experience from working with woodworking and component manufacturing. You have a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. You are experienced in. managing improvement projects in a manufacturing environment, using problem solving tools and structured methodologies for continuous improvements. Experience from project management and an overall IT knowledge is desirable.
