Background 

Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey in many areas. The Operations Development team helps Operations make sustainable improvements in its performance and achieve its most important goals. We are more than 160 people based on the main Operations sites around the world. Our Project Managers, Process Managers and Technology Specialists come together to focus on our customers and our business, unlock insight and challenge the established thinking and most importantly bring people together and lead change.

About the job  

As a Production Engineer in the Tool Manufacturing team you will ensure that production can be manufactured in a safe and efficient manner. You will develop and implement competitive and stable production methods. More specifically your key tasks will be: 
* Develop production equipment based on strategy and work environment regulations.
* Solve technical problems arising during the process
* Be responsible for the workforce routines and WoW (way of working)
* Perform duties as Superuser in CAM system
* Lead and run improvement projects according to PROMAL and DMAIC

Who you are 

To succeed in this role you are structured and driven, with the ability to see the big picture. You are collaborative and adaptable with a positive mindset. Enjoying being the contact person for machine suppliers who has great communication skills.  You are comfortable working in a team and finding the best solution for them.

What you know 

Relevant academic background and prior experience in Production Engineering. You have +3 years of experience from working in a similar role. You understand CAM system in a superuser level. Having knowledge in PROMAL and DMAIC is a plus. Overall, you bring knowledge and experience which you can successfully apply in our context.
