Production & Facility Manager

Graphmatech is growing and therefore we are now looking for a production manager to join our team at our office in Uppsala.


We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to plan, manage and implement the manufacturing scaling-up of our graphene-based materials. You will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, validating, and overseeing production lines including delivery of today’s batch customer orders. We expect you to have deep know-how in production upscaling, environmental health & safety, coordinating with machine and service providers, purchasing machines, and implementing production procedures. Continuous improvement, decision-making, and problem-solving as well as coordination with the other departments will take up a great part of your day.

Responsibilities
• Production and laboratory Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
• Planning, managing, and documenting the scaling-up of the company products from research & development to pilot and future large-scale manufacturing
• Planning and ensuring on-time and according to quality standards delivery of today’s customer batch orders
• Planning and managing facility infrastructure projects to meet the demands for production and laboratory areas
• To manage and develop the production department including estimating costs, preparing and follow-up on budgets, managing staff, maintenance, etc
• Keep all facility-related financial and non-financial records
• Handling production logistics and procurement
• Manage the workflow through our ERP system (Monitor)


Requirements
As a person, you are driven, committed, and take great responsibility for your work tasks and ensure delivery with good results. You are a very structured and collaborative person that can help us grow and develop our production department (as well as the company).
Proven organizational skills with the ability to work towards deadlines, prioritize and work efficiently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment as well as structured concerning documentation.
Hands-on personality and ability to work with a wide range of operative tasks including budgets and cross-departmental activities and projects. Have a positive mindset and constructive/proactive way when dealing with tasks.


We expect you to have
• Proven experience as production manager of industrial products
• Knowledge of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Experience reporting on key production metrics and budget follow up
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP software
• Fluent (C2) in both Swedish and English


It is an advantage if you have
• Previous managerial experience
• Previous experience in scaling up the production of startup companies
• Experience with ISO standards as well as operational management principles such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean
