What you'll do?
As the Production Group Manager, you’ll be responsible to develop, improve and manage the CMA area in Vårgårda and to plan and execute clear productivity goals and resources, adjust schedules as needed and monitor production standards.
You’ll lead a group of operators and team leaders that secures that the daily production is running as planned and that the processes are followed. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for improve existing processes, developing and implementing new processes and ways of working out of a Lean perspective. You will have full responsibility for work environment in the CMA area.
You’ll be a member of the Production Management Group and you’ll report directly to our Production Manager. You’ll also have a close collaboration with the other Production Group Managers and with our Logistics, Quality, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering department.

With your competence and knowledge within Production processes and your team you’re able to make fast and clear decisions. Therefore, we believe that you have previous experience in Production, Process and Change Management, preferably within Automotive and/or Electronics. You are known to maintain and monitor results (both quality and productivity levels) based on deadline, budget and goals.
You’ve got documented leadership skills and can identify and assign roles and responsibilities to your employees. When delivering goals, expectations and actions you do this with honesty, integrity and respect.
You’ve got experience in coaching and inspiring individuals and teams. You know when to take off your “manager hat” and when to put it back on when you’re talking to your employees and colleagues. Additionally, you’ve got experience communicating and building partnership with important stakeholders.
You have a passion for excellence, to be able to deliver on customer promises and cultivating innovation in our ways of working. When you are confronted with an issue, you are known to ask “why” as a way to better understand the root cause and are used to use different analytic methods in your problem-solving method. You make rational decisions that are based on facts and the task at hand. When needed you ask for input and help from your manager and colleagues.
- Documented leadership experience
- Good technical experience within Mechanical/Automation/Electronic
- Experience working with Lean production
- Swedish and English, written and verbal
- Automotive is meritorious
Level (diploma)
- Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic or relevant work experience
