The company originates from the Swedish-based Human Protein Atlas project and was founded in 2006 by researchers at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Rudbeck Laboratory / Uppsala University. The company offers four high-quality product lines: Triple A Polyclonals ™, PrecisA Monoclonals ™, PrEST Antigen ™, and QPrEST ™ standards for absolute quantification of proteins using mass spectrometry. Our products are used over the whole world in research for the purpose of understanding and improving human health. About the Role
As a Production manager you will lead the production group consisting of twelve employees who are responsible for manufacturing polyclonal antibodies, monoclonal antibodies, and antigens, as well as production of cell lines and lysates for R&D and QC needs. You report to the COO and is part of the Operations department management group.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and developing the team and its operations.
• Running operational business.
• Ensuring Quality Control according to company and industry compliance.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities according to LEAN.
• Owner and driver of local EHS (Environment, Healthcare and Safety) agendas to ensure compliance and a culture of excellence.
• Collaboration with cross functions to ensure that qualitative products are delivered to our customers in time.
About you
We are now looking for a new role model to make our production team shine and perform at their best. To succeed in the role, we believe that you have experience from similar work. You might not be an expert in everything, but you have solid experience within technology, production or leadership.

Profile and qualifications:
• A relevant education such as a master’s degree in life sciences or similar field, or bachelor’s degree and work experience equivalent to a master’s degree.
• Knowledge and experience from manufacturing processes for biological, chemical, or pharmaceutical products, especially protein purification through chromatography, protein expression from procaryote and eucaryote cell cultivation.
• Previous experience from management roles is meritorious.
• Experience in working according to standardized quality management systems such as ISO 9001. ISO 13485 or GMP.
• An interest in technical solutions, automation, and optimization of processes.
• LEAN and 5S methodologies
• Fluent in English and preferably also in Swedish.
But most importantly you have an eager to build a team based on self-leadership and find your way to contribute to our growth and development as a production site.
