Production IT Specialist

We are now looking for a Production IT Specialist to join our team to ensure a smooth production and support in the journey towards a more digitalized future.
This position reports to Production Engineering Manager.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for all non standard IT equipment and software (factory IT incl e.g. scanners, panel-PCs)
Support production technicians and employees in choosing the right hard- or software products or services
Order, support and install factory IT hardware and software, support in problem solving to keep production up and running
Manage updates and configurations, coordinate and cooperate in any global software or hardware implementation
Responsible for label printers and our Nicelabel solution, including layouts
Responsible for handheld devices – keep current up and running, order and configure new devices, collect and dispose used devices
Responsible for the internal factory network and activities related to it
Be the IS/IT expert in production related projects by supporting to choose the right technology and service
Implement and support the upcoming MES system
Support and maintain the backup solution for critical production equipment
Support and maintain SQL server used in the production
Actively support the site/factory in their digitalization strategy and propose suitable projects in line with the digitalization strategy



Your background
Knowledge of Windows 10 client OS versions and Microsoft Server 2019 or later, Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Microsoft Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Active Directory
Knowledge of one or more backup systems (preferrably Acronis)
General hardware and software knowledge
General network knowledge (Cisco switches, TCP/IP, routing, DNS)
Prior knowledge from end user support
It's preferred that you also have prior experience with scanners, Panel-PCs and other factory IT equipment
Extended MS Office 365 knowledge (Power-BI, SharePoint) and MES system knowledge is a plus
Experience from digitalization projects and security solutions (firewall, VLAN, antivirus, proxy, VPN) is meriting
