What’s in it for you?
As a Production Launch Manager for EAxD, you will create clarity by leading and inspiring people through purpose, showing courage by taking ownership and acting with integrity and trust and empowering teams by ensuring accountability and coaching for success.
This role will develop through the projects where we are creating a team that develops the future manufacturing processes for our future EAxD.
Our purpose is together with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and secure the best available techniques, develop the new manufacturing processes, develop standards and work in close collaboration with our colleagues at R&D. Strategic work, personal and organizational planning will be a part of our daily work. In some cases, we also set up learning sessions. We work closely together with Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing Shops worldwide and Procurement.
You will be part of a highly skilled team with many different competencies. We have a great team spirit, where everyone is included and dedicated to securing our product and we work with an excellent quality and support.
The ambition is to develop this role to be the future leader of VCPC production team. Development of the role will be a part of this assignment.
What you’ll do.
You will initially be a part of the EAxD-project team to drive the development of a future production organization as well as leading the launch of new EAxD components.
During this project phase you will set up routines, procedures and Way of Working between VCPC and our manufacturing partner, to have the best possible processes agreed and implemented.
Later on, you will be responsible for recruiting the future key resources and then coach, train and develop the people and support the teams with prerequisites to achieve priorities and targets. management and escalated people issue within your area.
Do you fit the profile?
We think that you have a university degree or equal education/ competence within Production and preferable VCMS. We believe you have passion for cars and new technology. We assume that you are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. We also think that you have significant leadership experience in a formal position, with the ability to both lead and motivate employees alongside extended knowledge in methods, tools, processes, and ways of working in the factory.
You are a strong believer in the power of people and your hold a strategical mindset with an ambition to develop future business with a holistic view. Furthermore, you have a strong communication skill and build confidence and trust at all levels in the organization. Alongside this you hold collaboration skills and build teams by applying diverse skills and perspectives to make the team grow and prosper. Another ability you have is to create a motivated environment that make people do their best contributing to achieve organization objectives.
