Production Lead - Creative play

As a Production Lead at Embarks creative play project you will be part of a strong technical team where you will create and improve structure and processes and facilitate the day to day work and communications to ensure productivity.

If you have a passion for removing obstacles, solving problems and making sure things get done, this is for you!

To succeed in this role you have excellent soft skills and the ability to motivate and coach individuals and teams. You also bring a proven track record from working in highly creative and complex environments.

You know that experimenting is a gamble. But you have a knack for choosing the smartest route, and you know when it's time to declare success or failure.

You make sure to balance meaningful innovation with executing best practices.

Example of responsibilities

- Involving team members in decision making; driving consensus across teams and disciplines
- Supporting team members and dealing with uncertainty; knowing when to abandon an exploration and when to make new plans
- Work with team members to define and improve ways of working as well as facilitating day-to-day events
- Ensure communication and coordination of work internally and with external partners
- Ensure team productivity and focus
- Providing transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders


We would love if you have

- A creative and curious mind
- Strong drive and willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to move the project forward
- Experience from- and ability to provide clarity in a complex and uncertain environment
- Experience as Producer / Project Manager in software development projects, managing projects throughout its life cycle from idea to release/live service
- Game development experience preferred
- A pragmatic mindset and strong soft skills - ability to motivate and coach both individuals and teams and influencing and delivering without formal authority
- Extensive experience from agile development methods in a cross-functional team environment, preferably from a variation of settings
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- An organized, detail oriented and self-motivated personality who thrives in a highly dynamic environment
