We are in a steep expansion and you will be part of Hitachi Energy Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have a global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require water cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus. The products are both projects based, and serial manufactured. The process is started with pipe and vessel welding, followed by assembly electrical work, testing and finally packing and shipping. The largest are around 5*3*3 m/10 metric tons and the smallest are around 20 kg.

Responsibilities
You will be part of the production management team where you represent the production team for premanufacturing and welding.
Set up the strategy of the department and ensure that the strategy is communicated, discussed and implemented in your team.
Be responsible for building and developing your team members and drive process improvements both short term and long term in the 25 people strong production team.
The role is both operational and strategic with many contact areas on several levels in the organization.
Key operational responsibilities will be to drive a strong HSE culture, to deliver products on quality targets as well as on time delivery to our customers.
Prepare annual production budget, oversee progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
Continue to develop the great spirit of continuous improvements.

Your background
To be successful in this position, you have held similar positions within the operations/production field with previous leadership experience.
Interpersonal skills with high degree of personal integrity; strong listening, creative thinking, and communication skills is a necessity.
Your analytical skills enable you to define and prioritize the most important tasks for the department.
A strong leadership for us should be characterized with people development, openness to change, and the willingness to build a successful team.
Knowledge, capability and experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
Experience from welding manufacturing is a plus.
As you will work both locally and in an international environment, good knowledge in English is required, as well as knowledge in Swedish.
