SMC Supply is responsible for the global production of Tools for all SMC segments.This is an area undergoing very rapid development.These positions are needed to build a global supply system and help rapidly increase production capacity. Supplementing this you are also expected to: - Establish a clear understanding of our cost competitiveness. - Participate in sourcing and new product development processes.- Collect quality feedback and identify improvements.- Report and communicate achievements and activities to internal stakeholders.- Standardize processes and preferred equipments to be used. Your profile: In order to fulfill these challenging tasks you have a M.Sc.or B.Sc in engineering and have gained practical knowledge of production and also if possible, engineering in this area.You also have several years of experience and have worked in an international environment.We expect that you: - Are very analytical and think systematically.- Have good understanding of manufacturing technologies and quality requirements.- Are good in problem solving and in conceptual thinking.- Have strong communication, interpersonal, team leader abilities and are fluent in English.- Are self motivated and able to work independently.- Can work in a matrix organization. - Have good skills in persuading and negotiating.- Have sound ethical principles.
