Plasma Surgical is a leading-edge company in the medical device industry that develops and commercializes new proprietary tools for coagulation and cutting of tissues.The device generates neutral high energy plasma using argon gas.The result is a surgical method that is more favourable for the patient than existing technologies.The products are CE marked and approved by the FDA.Plasma Surgical has manufacturing and development in both Sweden and the UK.Overall, the company has over 40 employees including its own sales offices in France and the USA.For more information please go to www.plasmasurgical.com.Plasma Surgical is at the moment growing rapidly and will therefore now further strengthen the organisation and employ an experienced Production Manager preferably from the medical device industry.As a Production Manager the principal tasks are - Responsibility for production operations including scheduling daily operations, developing /processing production work orders and work flow throughout the production facility. - Leading the production, and packaging operations, and oversees sterilization of offsite vendor.- Providing leadership, guidance and direction to the assigned production Teams to accomplish assigned objectives and targets. - Responsibility for the achievement of production targets/goals including: quality standards, safety, compliance with regulatory standards, yields, costs and compliance to work instructions.- Holding daily production meetings and reporting on daily basis status of production vs.assigned weekly, monthly, yearly targets.- Determine and implement work schedules, including overtime, needed to meet targets/objectives/goals and customer needs.- Acting as deputy purchasing manager in purchasing manager's absence.The candidate we are looking for has an engineering background and at least five years experience in a leadership role of operations - preferably in the medical device or regulated field.You are fluent in Swedish as well as in English both in verbal and written skills.You are an excellent organizer and planner with good communicating skills.Furthermore you have the ability to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level.You also demonstrate a sense of urgency when required, to meet demands of company and customer needs.Welcome to apply for this position at www.proffice.se/lifescience as soon as possible and November 8th at the latest.
