Production Manager

We are searching for an experienced production manager for our business partner KDL to support us as a full-time employee. KDL is a well-known Chinese manufacturer and operates within different segments of the battery industry. As a production manager, we expect you to be mainly responsible for manufacturing, logistics, and purchasing.

Location for this role: Skellefteå, Sweden
Expected start date: 3/30/2021.


Job description
· Efficiently manage the day to day production operations and ensure procedures and quality standards are followed and maintained. achieve production & quality targets
· Coordinate planning and production process
· Staff-related leadership, develop & retain talents in the production team
· Compliance with all relevant legal agreed and internal standards
· Drive continuous improvement with lean and quality tools to reduce scrap
· Lead lean manufacturing, esp. 5S activities in the department
· Communicate towards suppliers which are located worldwide
· Review and adjust stock levels
· Other tasks assigned by superior


Required Education/Skills/Experience:
· College/technical school, major in science or relevant fields
· At least 8 years related working experience; Lean production skills & hands-on practice
· Team management ability; 4-5 years as manager
· 8 years total working experience at metal molding, stretch related experience.
· Good English reading, speaking, and writing
