About the position

As Production Manager you will have a central role within the company where your assignment ranges from strategic and tactical future issues to daily operational tasks. You will lead and manage manufacturing of products that meet quality standards and customer demand in a safe environment. Serves on the Plant's leadership team and is responsible for building and supporting the company's culture of continuous process improvement and efficiency.
You are a fearless leader with focus on operational excellence, responsible for delivering results for all lines and all shifts within the factory plant. This will be accomplished through the effective leadership and management of, around 100 employees – production and team leaders, technicians and operators – and through process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilites are, but not limited to:
To develop an efficient and skilled production organization to have a clear assignment of responsibilities and duties
In co-operation with the Plant Management develop rolling forecast, investment plans and production forecasts to be followed up and to balance short-term profit against long-term objectives
Monitoring performance metrics and supporting Quality initiatives
Drive continuous process improvement to increase safety, quality and operations performance through implementation of Lean Principles
Building and maintaining productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction
Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, trusting employee relations, projects follow up, execution of targets
To ensure the compliance of the quality system through clearly defined assignments of responsibilities and duties
Requirements
University degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of practical and relevant manufacturing experience in automotive industry is a requirement
A proven understanding of Lean tools and techniques and their implementation to improve performance
Experience in injection molding is an advantage
Demonstrated experience in Swedish labor law, health and safety legislation and union negotiations
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with self-motivated, curious and driven personality
A strong, clear communication style, excellent motivational techniques and a collaborative approach to delivering objectives
Proficient in MS Office; and knowledge in ERP/SAP is an advantage
Proficiency in the use of both Swedish and English language in reading, writing and speaking
