Production Manager

You will be part of Power Products in Figeholm. We are a global leader in the field of transformer insulation serving both internal ABB transformer factories and external customers. On the idyllic Swedish east coast close to Oskarshamn ABB is operating a paper machine converting cellulose into so called transformer board. On the idyllic Swedish east coast close to Oskarshamn ABB is operating a board machine converting cellulose into so called transformer board. Power products are key components for transmission and distribution of electric power. The transformer board is further converted both at Figeholm and our insulation-manufacturing units in Poland, Germany, India, China, and Brazil. Being a part of ABB?s Product Group Insulation and Components, Figeholm offers the complete package of power transformer insulation to customers worldwide.
The Unit in Figeholm manufactures insulation and components for transformers.
Tasks
We are looking for you who want to drive our production forward by developing and improving the business with high focus on securitysafety, productivity, and quality. As our Production Manager you will be in the middle of a change phase that requires a clear, firm, and driven leadership. The Production manager is member of the management team in Figeholm.

You have the ability to create energy, focus and clarity around goals and metrics as well as make the business flexible to meet the market requirements regarding supplier time and securitysafety. You and your organization contributes to execution of the units? overall strategy and ensures implementation in the production.
Beyond this, you will be responsible for:

? Production capacity and finance
Requirements
You have a background from paper industry or other process industries. . You have hold a Master degree in of Engineering or Chemical Technology and preferably gathered first-hand experience with process control systems (such as 800xA) alternatively a university degree within Production Technology or similar. You have experience from leading employees in large organizations and in change management. It is important that you are an analytical thinker in order to look on the essential parts of the business and take the right actions. Endurance and energy are required for this role since the change process takes time and is challenging. Education in lean, leadership and organization theory are meriting. English and Swedish is required.
