Production Manager

About the position
We are looking for a production manager to own and develop current production processes. A leader that can prepare the production department to launch our future product portfolio and production equipment. Someone that drives operational performance, LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement projects. We want to improve in the fields of safety, quality, manufacturing efficiency, best in class capital investment installation, and a focus on driving cost out of the business.
Lead our three manufacturing departments Brass turning, Injection molding and final assembly. Your core team will consist of four supervisors including the maintenance dept.

This role is extremely important and will report to the plant manager.

Qualifications and experience
Manufacturing experience within an international environment
In co-operation with the Plant Management develop rolling forecast, and production forecasts to be followed up and to balance short-term profit against long-term objectives.
Track record in change management
Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
University degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of practical and relevant experience
Proficiency in the use of both Scandinavian and English language in reading, writing, and speaking.
experience in Nordic labor law, health and safety legislation and union negotiations.
A strong, clear communication style, excellent motivational techniques, and a collaborative approach to delivering objectives.
Proficient in MS Office; and knowledge in ERP/SAP is an advantage
