At our plant, we focus on creating a culture and structure where many want to work and grow. We are have just introduced a new engine platform, gone through major changes in our plant and are looking for a person who can lead the way forward to further successes both locally and globally.
In order for us to continue to achieve our high goals around product quality, work environment and safety, the leadership have a significant role for our business going forward.
We are today around 300 employees who together manufacture crank- and camshafts, liners and conrods.
Your tasks
* Report directly to the plant manager and become an integral part of the plant management team, which includes 10 senior managers from diverse backgrounds.
* Hold overall responsibility for the work environment, safety, quality, and economic performance of the production.
* Lead the coaching and development of workshop managers and employees, tailoring your leadership approach to a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
* Embrace the role of change agent within the factory, constantly seeking ways to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
* Play a key role in strategic and operational planning, contributing insights and actions to successfully run the production plant.
* Engage in collaborative leadership, working closely with the management team to influence the development and culture of the unit over time through visionary leadership.
* Adapt to new and unknown conditions, maintaining a proactive and motivating presence in challenging situations.
As Production Manager, you will be a key player in our business and a member of Plant Management Team. You will also be part of the network for other Production Managers within Scania and TRATON Production & Logistics business area.
