Composites is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids located in Piteå. The business unit manufactures high performance components made of fiber composite materials. With core expertise in the mechanical, electrical and physical properties of polymer composite materials and their manufacturing processes, the unit serves customers worldwide in sectors such as the electrical, transport and manufacturing industries.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will prepare and oversee annual production budget
Develop programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead operational performance
Handle manufacturing subcontracts and manage the subcontractor jointly with other involved disciplines
Give support to Sales during customer visits to explain capabilities
Ensure compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives and that regulations are implemented
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Responsible for Production Supervisors, Production Engineering and Maintenance. Also including other functions has Local Safety Coordinator and Energy Management

Your background
You have some years of previous work experience in similar role or/and with manager experience in general
You are disciplined, structured and highly results-orientated
You hold a university degree in engineering or similar
You are communicative and experienced with Union negotiations
Knowledge in MS Office, BaaN LN, SAP and MES-systems
Proficiency in English and Swedish is a requirement
