Job Description
As Production Manager for Singular Society, you will work with all product groups including Home, Personal Care and Men´s and Women´s clothing. You will be part of and work very closely with a small team of four Buyers/Product Developers, a Junior Buyer, a Designer, a Pattern Maker and an Assortment Manager. This will give you a great opportunity to take ownership and have an impact while driving the production development in a responsible and sustainable way.
Singular Society is a young brand in its early stages of development, and we do not work with production offices, which means that as a Production Manager, you are responsible for the whole process, all the way from idea to going live in store. You, together with the rest of the team, constantly follow, identify and react on assortment opportunities and risks, based on selling, customer insights, feedback and surrounding analysis in order to create the best assortment for current and future members.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sourcing, onboarding, and maintaining great relationships with suppliers.
Securing all products meet our Quality Standards & Requirements (supplier control, fabric testing, product testing, production quality control including labels and packaging).
Overall responsibility for all supplier management including onboarding package, certifications, supplier manual etc etc.
Monitoring the Labelling and Packaging library. This means being the point of contact for Nilörn Label supplier as well as suppliers.
Overall responsibility for Regulatory and Compliance issues, including Chemical, Cosmetic, Food Contact issues. This requires close collaboration with H&M Legal department as well as with External Laboratories and Suppliers.
Making sure that the production plan is kept with suppliers and monitoring on-time delivery. Clear communication of the time plan to assortment team, supplier, forwarder etc.
Close collaboration with freight forwarders to secure on-time and on budget shipments.
Communicating directly with the suppliers to solve problems quickly in line with our methods and approach.
Driving and communicating the sustainability agenda.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have previous experience working with a broad variety of product groups. You have a passion for premium products, and you are not satisfied until the product is perfect. You thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with a lot of responsibility. We believe you can drive your work independently and lead the way to improve supplier relations and product quality.
Furthermore, we believe you:
Have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience from production management.
Are an expert in finding the right supplier for the right product, using your big network within and outside of H&M Group.
Have extensive knowledge about product quality.
Always see possibilities and simple solutions. Experience from working in a small company or startup outside of the H&M Group is a plus.
Are unprestigious, independent, and flexible.
Have great communication and team collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
Have the capacity to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position working for our Head Office in Stockholm. There is no relocation and remote work outside of Stockholm is not an option for this position.
