As production manager for our Tap Changer factory you will manage, coach and develop the production team, to enable them ensuring world class service to our customers. This means deliver high quality product in time at right cost. A key success factor to achieve this is to continue the ongoing transformation based on Lean production principles. This is a journey that has been going on for quite a long time and we a proud of what has been attained, but far from satisfied.
Your responsibilities
Improve operational performance. Make sure that HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), quality, delivery and cost are carried out in the best possible way
Ensure that the factory is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Coach, support and motivate the teams and team members to reach their goals through clear leadership and structured approach
Prepare annual production budget, oversee progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources
Continue to develop the great spirit of continuous improvements

Your background
You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience from a comparable position
To successfully take on this position, you have experience from leading within production/operations
Previous experience and with proven result from change management
Knowledge, capability and experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative (360), solutions oriented approach, and strong communication skills
Your analytical skills enable you to define and prioritize the most important tasks for the factory and department
You like to take responsibility, are result focused and driven
As you will work both locally and in an international environment, excellent knowledge in Swedish and English is required
