We are currently seeking a Production Planner for a consulting assignment with a company in the medical and scientific field. The position is full-time with a desired start date in April and will continue until September of this year with the potential for extension. The role is based at the company's headquarters in Solna.

About the position
You will be part of a team with close collaboration and with a strong passion to problem solve and to collaborate over departments to succeed in the daily work. You will in this role:

• Optimize production scheduling and daily create production orders relative to shelf life, machine- and materials restrictions as well as customer need.
• Incorporate new products or product improvements into the production plan
• Work to resolve material shortages and backlogs
• Work to optimize inventory of finished goods inventory, intermediates and raw materials
• Proactively collaborate with departments such as failure investigation, manufacturing, logistics and quality.
• Take an active role in operational daily meetings
• Provide analyses and assess options to highlight issues and propose solutions
• Be an enthusiastic and friendly team player who can motivate colleagues and contribute to shared objectives


Your profile
To succeed in this position, we believe you have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 2+ years of related work experience, preferably within planning (supply-, production-, procurement-, demand-), logistics or similar. We like to see this paired with:

• Very comfortable and used to work in Microsoft Excel
• Strong ERP knowledge, experience of SAP is an advantage
• Proven track record of paying attention to details and being meticulous in the daily operational work
• Team player
• Proficient in English. Swedish is an advantage but not requirement
