Production planner and engineer

The production unit in Timrå, Swedish Lean award winner 2017, is now searching for a new Production planner and engineer.

In this role you will be working in our production engineering team and collaborate with many other departments to support the production unit to reach defined targets and develop into the future.

As a production planner and engineer you will be responsible to plan and monitor our production plan as well as work with production engineering tasks such as introducing new products and support production with tools etc.

You will have an important role in a fast-moving company where you will learn and develop for the future.

Key duties
Support in develop, optimize, and maintain operations to reach strategic targets
Handle and coordinate all production orders in the production planning
Follow up on plans and act when needed
Confirm deliveries to customer and strive for completion of what was promised
Coordinate and prioritize together with all departments within the production unit
Contribute to and act as project manager for projects concerning the production, including product introductions to ensure timely and effective product launches
Take lead in and drive any improvement projects within the unit, act as change leader
Lead the Delivery Excellence effort to become a world-class business partner to the European sales companies

Qualifications
You have a university degree in science or engineering. You are very well familiar with lean principles and how to practice them.

As a person you are a team-oriented problem solver with organizing skills and attention to detail. You have great communication and leader skills, which you will use daily. You have an ambition to grow and develop with the company and to teach and develop the people around you are part of your personality.
You are fluent in oral and written Swedish and English.
