Production planner (Temporary contract)

You will be involved in ensuring the high quality of our products, work closely with our Operations team and other Supply chain teams; COM (Customer order management) and Logistics. We offer you varied and challenging tasks with a huge opportunity for personal development.
We are currently 10 persons in the department of PP/S (Production planning & scheduling) in SCM Avesta that aim to plan the mills optimal to keep customer promises and keep net working capital at targeted level.
About the role:
Deliver schedules for our melt shop, plan our hot rolling mill and other down stream facilities
Handle production results; plan for rework and/ or re-allocate material to orders
Analyze service level (delivery precision) and find continuous improvement actions needed
Collaborate with people in different departments, mills and levels
Temporary contract (1 year) and (day time or 2 shift scheme).


Who are you?
A Master's degree in relevant field (for example material, industrial economics, information science, engineering or metallurgy)
1-2 years of relevant work experience is an advantage
Strong interest in local and international challenges and willingness to travel
High career aspirations with a hands-on attitude
Eagerness to learn and develop
Interest to work in different fields, willingness to take on new responsibilities and projects
Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
