About the assignment
Planning is located within the company’s Production Planning & Support team, that consists of 17 people working together both internally and cross functional. The team is responsible for planning the entire chain in operations from production base to ready-to-deliver product. One major task is to prioritize and coordinate the work within customer projects.
Job tasks
In this role your main responsibilities will include the following:
Planning the operations chain for specific projects
Manage the planning function and the planning interface with Project management
Develop and maintain master scheduling for all projects
Using the MRP system, translate the consolidated sales forecasts into a master production schedule/build schedule.
Perform load leveling on the build plan to allow for resource restrictions.
Evaluate and create reschedule requirements for buyers.
Prepare and distribute weekly production schedule/work order dispatch lists.
Monitor daily schedule status and communicate scheduling problems or concerns to Management.
Compiling the needs and documentation of the projects from design
Producing documents such as production orders and schedules with high quality requirements
Participating in improvement and process development within the department
You will work closely with your colleagues in design, production, purchasing, testing and quality, but also broadly across the company linked to ongoing projects. also collaborate with other RUAG sites in Europe and the US.

Their main products are adapter and separation systems where they are world leading. With 90 % of the commercial market, they supply all major launch service providers in the world with equipment for launching satellites of all sizes. Qualifications for this role
Technical education or high school degree within relevant field
Experience with planning in production
Good communicative skills, both Swedish and English
Good computer skills, experience with working in an ERP system (such as IFS)
