We are looking for 2 Product Preparation Engineers to be one of the main key link into the circular engineering network, focused on the preparation of remanufactured and low volume-based transmissions, axels, and marine products.
Who are we?
The Volvo Group Circular Operations & Solutions, Remanufacturing Site in Flen, is responsible for remanufacturing of engines, transmissions, axels and others remanufactured components and production of low volume-based products for the Volvo Group. We have remanufacturing sites in Sweden, France, US, Brazil, India, China, and Japan.
The Engineering team in the Flen factory has the overall responsibility to deliver the production process and product information to our own site and to the other remanufacturing sites within our industry network. We are organized in three subgroups: production development, Product Preparation and Maintenance.
The job:
As product preparation engineer, you will be part of the Product Preparation Engineering team who supports the implementation of new products and product changes in our factory, delivering product technical documentation and product data which are related to bill of material (BOM), list of components, standard time definition, standard operations process and instructions and packaging definition. You will work with straight cooperation cross-functional teams, coordinating your portfolio product introduction projects and following the world class manufacturing principles, driving improvements and standardizations.
Your profile:
Experience in Product Preparation Engineering, appreciated if within automotive or specifically on diesel engines
Knowledge in PDM systems
Background from Product Development and Process Engineering is appreciated
Experience in assembly of engines or transmissions is appreciated
Experience in Remanufacturing is appreciated
Customer focus and the ability to work cross functionally.
Able to be part of team works and leading projects and action plans.
Able to understand operating principles and establish operating standards and instructions.
Able to make a good presentation simply and clearly so that everybody can understand it.
Have challenging and pioneering spirits
Graduation in Engineering
Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
