We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Quality Lead to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. By joining us you will be a key player in establishing high-quality performance in our production at the first large scale European battery factory.
About the job
As a Production Quality Lead you will ensure team performance and customer's satisfaction for a dedicated production block through team management, quality control and improvements of product and process. Furthermore, you will supervise and support Production Quality employees and ensure that standards are followed, and employees are trained. Most importantly, you will strive for our process to yield the highest quality and act on deviations and work with support functions to fix any issues and non-conformities.
About the team
The quality department is lead by the Director of Quality and composed of three main aspects, Production Quality, Quality Control and Quality Testing. The department focuses on implementing a strong quality mindset across the organization and is amongst one of the most cross-functional in the organization, collaborating closely with our Production Technology and Process Engineering teams to act on deviations and improve processes.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implement and audit standard procedures and instructions
Review and implement the Quality Control plans for each process operation.
Set up quality monitoring procedures, quality KPI's, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e., Process capability: SPC and Cpk
Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to con-conformities and quality issues, e.g. 8D and non-conformity reporting.
Ensure development of PQ employees (Technical, SOP’S, WI’s, Team development and behaviours)
Participate and input in change management, engineering change notification and deviation approval processes. Review results and action tracker and initiate improvement projects. Drive cross-functional and cross-technological manufacturing projects and opportunities. Drive quality improvement and optimization projects utilising six sigma methodology.
Participate and input to quality gate reviews in the industrialisation phase of Product and Process Development to ensure reliable manufacturing of products. Support to equipment commissioning activities.
Supervise and support employees
Follow up team Quality performance and act on deviations
Participates in recruiting and developing a team spirit that creates energy, encourages compliance with company standards and employment guidelines
Support definition and apply performance metrics (competence matrix) for each team member and then work with team members to make sure that all metrics are met.

We believe that you have :
MSc degree in Chemistry/Manufacturing/Engineering
3+ years of relevant work experience in similar role within high volume assembly/production, e.g. battery, automotive, pharma
3+ years leadership experience in international manufacturing organisations
Experience and knowledge about FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Risk Management
Experience and knowledge of problem-solving process, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, Pareto
Experience and knowledge of quality requirements and standards of the automotive industry (IATF 16949:2016)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Bonus points for:
Experience in automotive industry
Certified six sigma professional green or black belt
Internal auditor certification for ISO9001 or VDA6.3
