We are now looking for a Production & Quality Manager who is motivated, dedicated and a perfectionist. As our Production & Quality Manager you’ll play a very important role in our product team while contributing to our continued success by developing and ensuring our production strategies further. You’ll work closely with our Head of Product, in-house product developers and designers and collaborate cross-functionally with operations and forecasting team.
Your responsibilities:
• Build strong, long term relationships with factories and suppliers, by “being on the ground” visiting current and potential partners.
• Driving improvement projects across the entire production chain and ensuring consistent, high-quality and on-time production of our products.
• Sourcing new factories and suppliers.
• Negotiate purchasing & price terms initially and ongoing to assure best possible product margins and lead times in consideration to iDeal quality and standards.
• Production planning and management.
• Managing on-site visits personally and through third party audit and QC.
• Commissioning and evaluating lab-tests accordingly to iDeal standards.
• Manage and evaluate relevant supply chain KPIs with connection to the production.
• Be responsible for and further develop iDeal of Sweden’s CSR initiatives to ensure ethical and strategic sourcing for production of the iDeal of Sweden brand.
Requirements:
• You have a Bachelors degree in Business administration/Production/Supply Chain or related field.
• You have 5+ years experience from developing and managing an agile production/supply chain.
• Solid experience of all elements within external production.
• Experience from international purchasing and production.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Highly organized project and process manager with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent skills in Excel
• Works well in a rapidly changing and fast-moving environment.
• Powered and stimulated by driving results and ambitious targets.
• Fluent in English.
• Chinese language knowledge is a plus.
• Regular travels to China will be required
