We at Outokumpu in Nyby/Torshälla are now looking for YOU, Production support IT Developer, with solid knowledge in computer technology and process automation to become a valued part of our team for Process-related IT.
Working as Production support IT developer at Outokumpu you’ll find that no day is the same and there is always something new and exciting. Here you’ll feel that your ideas matter! You will collaborate a lot with different departments and stakeholders such as IT, procurement, maintenance, Quality, and technology department etc. Here your work will combine process automation and IT. You’ll become an expert on the process’ L2 applications.

Your role:
Ensure operation of L2 servers, computers, and process-related IT infrastructure
Support within Level 2 IT and automation, including server operation, data communication, process engineering control systems, operating systems, and system integration
Contribute to achieving development results that will provide higher quality, shorter process times and lower process costs
Lead projects, participate in projects and plan future projects and purchases based on Outokumpu's Nyby project portfolio and Outokumpu's global project model
Conduct and plan training for maintenance personnel and operating personnel within L2 & automation
Provide support to the organization in case of complicated troubleshooting


About you:
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge/experience in programming is an advantage
Experience in the manufacturing industry as well as knowledge of systems and development within machine-related systems L1/L2 is an advantage
You are fluent in English (writing and speaking), Swedish language skills is an advantage
