Production technician

Job description
We are hiring and strengthening our team with a Production technician position. You will be an essential part of our operations team planning, building and testing our instruments. Symcel is a Swedish medtech company that develops and sells analytical instrument solutions for measuring cell metabolism with high sensitivity. 
We are expanding our business within the lab tools and in-vitro diagnostic segments which opens exciting opportunities for you who wants to be part of this journey. 

Responsibilities
As a Production technician at Symcel you will be a key member of the production team and play a central role within instrument building and quality control. You will also work in close collaboration with Symcel research & application team, and be part of general operations within production, logistics, purchase and more.
 
Essential responsibilities:
Plan, build, calibrate, and test instruments in production
Document the production results in DHR (Device History Record)
Participate in risk management activities
Collaborate closely with team members, contribute to improvements and solutions to meet defined goals

With the right skills and experience, you can contribute to further developing the production process of our instruments.

Working hours
This is a full-time position at our headquarter and production facility at Karolinska Institutet campus in Solna. 
Permanent employment with 6 months probationary employment. 



Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
> 3 years experience from working as Production technician or Process Operator in a highly process-driven environment 


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Practical problem solver working with precision 
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiatives to accomplish goals
Good documentation practices
Able to work on multiple tasks
Work with cross functional teams with clear focus on customer needs, cost and reliability of solutions provided
Flexible, pro-active, curious and goal oriented
Fluent written and spoken English
Accustomed to working independently


Meritorius: 
Production technology education or other relevant technical education
Experience in medical device, analytical instrument or IVD device production 
Good knowledge on the compliance requirement & regulatory landscape within Life Science Industry such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR or similar
Experience from IVD instrument- and consumables production
Driver license B
