Workplace Production is an exciting internal function within IKEA of Sweden. Our assignment is the development, production and delivery of assignments within Interiors, Build services, Events, Installation and other related assignments. 

We make reality of the ideas with good skills and effective working methods and techniques. From the sketching board to prototypes and further into production.

Are you the one who´s turning upside down on furniture, trying to figure out the construction?
Do you get that glimpse of deep interest in your eyes when you are looking at a sketch of construction?
Do you know why prestige is the opposite of true cooperation and knowledge sharing?
Would you call yourself a bit of a nerd when it comes to realizing a construction, as in product in real life?

Workplace Production is looking for a Production Technician within wood

A common day in the team often starts with a request from our assignors. It could be technical challenge within the development process or other production challenges. You define the need based on the request to creation of a solution or a prototype, that demonstrates the product design and characteristics. In other words – you will give life to an idea. 

It could also be that you step into being a speaking partner to share your knowledge and ideas around choice of material, build techniques, work environment, assembly, comfort, surface treatment, production methods or other related area.
