Production Technology Manager

We are looking for global Production Technology Manager to support our growth and expand our global technical expertise. Your role is to support and ensure that workshop operations and technology transfer initiatives are maintained and developed with area location production operations to achieve profitable and competitive goals.
Are you the candidate we are looking for?
Your main responsibilities are:
Develop our technology footprint by managing Valmet technology transfer projects in our global manufacturing network. Having active role in planning, supplier selection, supplier delivery control and start-ups with follow-up.
Boost productivity. Technology and operational standards’ generation and support, communication between Valmet locations
Support production technologies in Valmet locations
Drive continuous improvement and ensure quality standards are followed
Responsible for resolving product issues related to design or production needs
Ensuring updated, detailed documentation and instructions of the Rolls Operations processes

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of operations related experience, including management level experience in production or production development
Fiber and/or stock prep technology knowledge is an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as presentation skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to work in multicultural matrix organization, build-up and maintain relations across multiple regions and areas
Willing and able to travel extensively on an international basis
