Production Trainee

NLG has an aggressive expansion plan and we need to competence equip the organization for the end of the business plan 2025/26. This position should be seen as a trainee role for future roles within NLG or outside if the person is growing faster than the position.

We are situated in Uddevalla on the Swedish west-coast where we have cultivated a long tradition of developing and producing high quality leather belts and leather accessories. This is done by combining a large-scale production capacity with a small-scale handcraft production capability and maintain a constant focus on developing new products.
Our vision is to change the market for leather accessories and provide the global market with attractive leather products, produced in Sweden and with care for man and nature.
Our customers today can be found on a wide scale in both size and business segment such as HM, Varner, Fjällräven & Eduards accessories

Responsibilities
• Manage the day to day business as a production supervisor at NLG
• Personnel management in production/logistics
• Manage NLG:s logistics flow (inbound, outbound, storage, pick & pack)
• Setting up machines for new operations
• Machine maintenance
Experience and Qualifications
• Proven experience around machines
• Some experience in leading people

The location of the position is in Uddevalla
The position reports into the Production Manager
