Your mission
As Director for our Gimo Inserts Production, you establish a customer-centric organization, strengthen our market position and develop our profitability going forward. To create world class and be the best production unit of carbide inserts, you ensure alignment with strategies and operational plans, and manage production objectives and financial goals. You create the right conditions for an efficient manufacturing as well as for competent and motivated staff. A key aspect in your role is industrializing and introducing new products within your area of responsibility, and you implement plans and execute activities to make this happen.
Looking ahead, you naturally work continuously to improve our organization and identify synergies between important areas such as production, digitalization and sustainability. You also look at advancements in leadership management concepts and theory from both an individual and an organizational perspective.
You’re an active and valued member of the management teams for Global Inserts Production and for our Gimo production site, and you report to the Director of Global Inserts Production. Being a global business, means that some travel is included in your job.
Who you are
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic business leader; with the ability to drive change and inspire people. You have previously managed larger organizations in global and diverse environments, and your career includes roles within the manufacturing domain. You have roots in lean manufacturing, and experience from project and performance management, as well as from handling industrial relations. Your knowledge is grounded by a relevant degree, perhaps in Engineering, Industrial Economy or Finance. As we’re truly international, you need good communication skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
You strive for high quality and great results, and you’re not afraid to prioritize and make decisions, as well as challenging us to think creatively. With both knowledge and an interest in new technology, you want to explore how this could help us be even more efficient and successful. You’re also skilled in building a collaborative and open culture, and you communicate in a confident, structured and informative way that bring people on board. All in all, an enthusiastic and passionate leader, and a true role model for our site!
