SAB Gothenburg is the global center of excellence for R&D with appr. 200 employees which covers most functions as R&D, Sales, Strategy, and support functions. We are located on Lindholmen Gothenburg.
Position summary
As a productivity assessment engineer, you will be part of our Value Added Engineering Team, to analyze production flow at customer sites. You will prepare a complete technical evaluation, including a detailed improvement proposal for enhanced productivity and profitability. You perform productivity assessment studies at our customers to evaluate digital and automation solutions, including equipment, and filler metal. You work in close collaboration with you colleagues in the team, as well as departments.
Responsibilities
Together with your colleagues in the team you will work with assessment surveys at our customer sites worldwide.
Off-line programming
Provide production cost/technology support to all regions
Provide technical and economical customer productivity assessment reports
Drive effective utilization of our process center in Gothenburg
You are expected to travel to our customers sites

Profile and required competences
Experienced in welding production technology
Good understanding of welding production cost distribution
Knowledge in off-line robot programming and/or 3D programming
Preferably experience from welding processes
Fluent in Swedish and English language, both spoken and written
You are a team player and a good communicator
