Aurobay is looking for a Productivity Engineer. As our next Productivity Engineer with focus on AGV & engine testing, you are responsible for optimizing method and layout, including method data, timing, and staffing analysis for VA staff in new projects. Be a part of our project team and work from concept phase to Final Status Report.

What will you do?
At Manufacturing Engineering, you are part of a global Engineering team that makes sure that the Power systems we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. In close collaboration with colleagues in other business units, we develop and implement flexible and efficient manufacturing systems. If you want to reach your personal goals together with other people, Manufacturing Engineering is the place for you to prosper.
The Group Local Engineering, is part of ME and has responsibility for develop and implement equipment solutions for product projects, running changes, capacity projects and non-product projects according to project targets.
You will be part of an engineering team that develop engineering solutions that fulfil attribute requirements and manufacturing process demands within decided cost and time frames.
The work includes contacts with other engineering departments, plant engineering and production within our company as well as with external suppliers.
You will:
- Create and analyses the equipment part of the process layouts
- Performs safety-, reliability- and cost analyses
- Performs Equipment risk analyses
- Supports the running production with second line analysis within the area of responsibility
The position requires some travelling.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have an engineering degree from a college, university or equivalent. As a person we believe that you are independent, driven, and open for changes.
This role requires some experience in:
- Production Engineering and Lean Culture
- Preparation transport system AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle)
- Automation technology
- Verification equipment for combustion and electric engines (engine testing)
It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the processes, methods, and tools (Initial control, Teamcenter) at Manufacturing. Skills in Process Development preferably in automotive industry, 6-Sigma and LEAN competence is also a plus and something that we will develop.
