As a manager on the Productivity Infrastructure team, you will be in charge of the operations and administration of the foundational platforms that underpin our ways of working: Bitbucket for source code, Jira for change management, and Confluence for documentation. You will collaborate closely with different departments to ensure that we provide the greatest possible experience to our internal customers all around the world.
Responsibilities and tasks
Ensure that our Atlassian apps are managed in a rapidly increasing environment for high availability, reliability, performance, and security.
Continuously upgrade the settings of the central system.
Creating non-production setups and running test scenarios
Create and keep up with actionable monitoring and alerts.
Support other Productivity teams in bigger initiatives to adopt specified business processes and to provide end-user support as needed.
Identify and execute gold standard solutions that are simple to comprehend and reusable.
Proactively identify concerns and hazards.
Take charge of situations by doing hard debugging and reverse engineering work.
Documenting and sharing knowledge comes naturally to me.
Infrastructure should be implemented as code.
For automating tasks, use CI/CD tools.
Skill Set Required
You have previous experience running comparable infrastructure operations/teams. You are familiar with Linux system administration and know your way around responsibilities linked to it.
You have experience integrating systems and creating automation such as AMI pipelines, CloudFormation updates, and termination life-cycles utilising CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Duration: 6 months + extension
