We are now looking for a Production Manager
Do you want to work in an international company with great potential, do you want to be part of a winning team? We are currently seeking a Production Manager to Belmont Trading in Karlskoga!
The person that we are looking for is a TEAM player and are used to work in a fast moving environment with high demands for accuracy.
You as a person are energetic, have a strong self-motivation and very direct and clear communication skills.
As Production Manager you will be responsible for leading and running the daily operations at the plant in Karlskoga. One of your most important tasks that the collateral that production targets are achieved and to have the ability to lead and motivate your staff
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is both a strategic and tactical role that will report to the European Director. You will be responsible for all Production staff which means that you are responsible for ensuring that the processes surrounding the working methods and the work is quality assured. You are also responsible for the continuous work to improve the processes that lead to increased efficiency.
This will include but not be limited to:
Set, with management and Production Operators, agreed recycling rates and targets for all factory operations.
Provide management information on effectiveness/efficiency of operation as required.
Agree with management appropriate levels of staffing for all areas of operation/processes
Manage factory staffing all aspects including Health and Safety and ensure that all operational activities are carried out in strict compliance to the company Health and Safety Policy.
Regularly liaise with the Health and Safety Manager to review operations to ensure safe working practices at all times.
Ensure factory staff observe company procedures, risk assessments and managing any contraventions appropriately
Work with management to ensure a positive “can-do” results driven culture thrives, with operations staff able to embrace change as required
Continually work to improve process/factory optimisation for improved productivity
Ensure Environmental Compliance in accordance with Licences
Logistics: responsible for managing and coordinating freight locally for inbound/outbound material and interfacing with other Belmont Locations
Minimum Requirements Needed:
Factory & Operations supervision skills
Recycling processes/factory layout and productivity improvements
Be trained in ‘Better Work Environment’.
Teamworking/Leadership/Motivational skills
Able to analyse and set line/process performance and targets
Measure staff against agreed targets and introduce performance improvements if and when required
An excellent communicator and listener who can impart passion to both colleagues and the generalworkplace environment
Good understanding and experience in staff disciplinary procedures
Strong PC Skills and product knowledge and, where possible, technically capable in fields such as bar-coding, stock control, warehouse management systems, and materials handling. Must be fluent in Excel/Microsoft Office.
Highly Desired Skills:
Previous experience from the recycling of Electronics
Previous experience from Electronic repair or manufacturing.
