Produktionschef till Quintus Technologies i Västerås

Quintus Technologies is growing rapidly in delivering new systems from our factory in Västerås to all places around the world, in servicing and supporting our customers in their high-tech applications and operations, as well as establishing Quintus Technologies in new business areas.

We are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to develop our production into a lean, efficient part of our supply chain. You will report to the Chief Operations Officer and manage the production activities with the support of a direct reporting Workshop Manager who manage the personnel in production, and a team within the Production Development and Planning department, which you will be the direct manager for.

We are currently focusing on increasing our capacity and on reducing our lead-times in production. You will drive these initiatives and you will be responsible for executing on-time deliveries with increased efficiency and service levels, improved quality, and reduced cost.

Furthermore, our Production Manager is responsible for people management, work environment, equipment, budget, quality, on time delivery and continuous improvements for all production related activities. You will also be responsible for strategic initiatives related to Production and Facility, KPI definition and follow up, as well as financial activities related to production.

Profile

We see that you have a technical background and previous experience from managing production and/or production engineering and development. You should be skilled within Operations Management, Lean, Material- and Production Planning. You have a Master of Science degree within relevant area.

This role includes close cooperation with several internal functions as well as external contacts and outstanding communication skills are required in both Swedish and English.

A personal attribute that we value in this role is a strong drive with focus on results. You should have solid leadership experience, decision-making skills, and ability to develop a high performing team.
