You will be a part of Force Measurement at Finnslätten in Västerås.
Force Measurement is a factory with global responsibility for production, development, sales, service and marketing. We provide customers with reliable equipment for measurement and control in metal, paper and marine applications. Our products are designed to improve productivity, control and quality.
Your responsibilities
We are looking for a person with knowledge in milling in CNC-controlled machines.
The position with us includes all steps for mechanical processing, such as machine set-up, rigging, tooling and operator maintenance.
They will also take care of crosscut saws, furnaces, deep cooling and blasting. We would like to see that people are prepared to develop internally in our value chain, as this creates a better overall understanding and increases quality awareness.
Furthermore, it is important that you are a team player who is prepared to "jump in" where you are needed at the moment in order for us to be able to fulfill our promises to customers. We work with business development and everyone is expected to take an active role in improving our processes and contributing to increased customer satisfaction.
Your background
We would like you to be an experienced CNC operator and are used to everything from tool change, programming, setting up and rigging in machining centers.
Experience of the Fanuc and Siemens programs is an advantage.
We are looking for someone who has their own drive and who works well, both in groups and on their own.
You take pride in making the right quality, taking responsibility and delivering results. In our production, there is a strong focus on health and safety, where everyone contributes to a healthy workplace that is constantly improving.
You need to be able to communicate in Swedish and English in both writing and speaking.
Forklift and overhead crane licenses as well as knowledge of SAP are meritorious.
The work involves 2 shifts.
