You will be part of a team of 13 persons so cooperation and planning is important. Your main tasks will be: accounting in general but with focus on fixed assets, reporting within SAP/BPC reporting tool for SEABB, and accounting with both USGAAP and legal Swedish rules.


You combine a Master’s degree in Business and Economics with a few years of work experience. In addition, you need strong skills in, as well as practical experience of, reporting and accounting. It is qualifying with experience of SAP and reporting in BPC tool is an advantage. Experience from large companies is a merit. You are quality focused and a good planner. You enjoy collaboration and teamwork. As a person, you consider yourself to be driven, persistent and stress tolerant.

As you will work in an international organization, fluency in English, written and spoken alike, is a necessity, but you should also be able to express yourself well in Swedish.


Shared Accounting services are responsible for all accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable within ABB Sweden and Denmark. Financial internal control is another important task of ours. Today we are about 50 coworkers in our Swedish unit, and we are part of a global business unit that leads all SAS Centers worldwide.

Closing and Reporting is part of Accounting departments and the main focus is the monthly reporting to our head office in Zürich, Fixed Assets, Cost accounting and system set up according to the reporting and wish from business. We are also part of projects within our systems SAP as our ERP system and SAP BPC as our reporting tool and analyze system. We are 13 persons in this department and are located in Västerås, Sweden.
