The Institute of Odontology at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothen-burg, has a vacant position as Professor in Orthodontics.This position is opened to apply for.
The department of Orthodontics persues research, postgraduate education and is responsible for and involved in the undergraduate education and training of dentists and other categories of dental personnel.Approximately 15 students are currently active within the PhD-program.One professor, one senior lecturer and two adjunct senior lecturers (20%) are also employed at the department.The departments at the Sahlgrenska Academy collaborate with Västra Götaland Region in clinical undergraduate and postgraduate training.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Scientific and pedagogic excellence and, in addition, specialist qualification in Orthodontics are compulsory for the position.
BASIS OF ASSESSMENT: Primarily; scientific achievement, secondarily; pedagogic skills
and thirdly; clinical skills.
Administrative skills and collaborative capacity will also be taken into consideration when nominating an applicant for the position.
