A new opportunity for a foodie who also can relate to the palette of numbers. We have created the position as Profit Manager for F&B and events. We look for you with a true passion for food & beverage, with experience and knowledge from working with F&B operations. You are commercially driven, have an eye for detail and can lead initiatives on your own or as a part of a team.

You will work as a Profit Manager (PM) with our whole portfolio, but in particular our larger hotels with a high focus on optimizing the F&B and event segment. You will generate sustainable long-term profits and contribute to the development of the Profit department, as well as work closely with our F&B and sales team.

The position is employed at Nordic Choice Hotels’ head office in Oslo or Stockholm, but location within Scandinavia can be discussed for the right candidate. The position as Profit Manager will involve some travelling. You will work within “Business Operations” in the profit department, and report directly to Senior Business Analyst Øyvind Vassbotn.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize all revenue streams for F&B, events and ancillary products.
• Cost margin analysis and pricing for F&B, meetings and events.
• Optimizing menu pricing and design (menu engineering)
• Analysis, forecasting, benchmarking and reporting
• Be involved in the commercial strategy towards F&B and M&E for brands, hotels, destination and the Profit department

Education/qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or hospitality management. Relevant experience from a similar role may compensate.
• Experience from Revenue Management and F&B/ancillary pricing.
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable using data to diagnose problems, as well as to find ways to improve business.
• You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools.
• Deep understanding of F&B, Function space management, digital marketing and hotel operations.
• Self driven as well as ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Strong communications skills, written and verbal.
• Energy, courage and enthusiasm.
