The Electrical Systems Integration department is responsible for the release of a quality assured software for the complete electrical system in our vehicles both during the development phase as well as projects directed towards customer vehicles in running production. We own the software release and software integration management process.

As Program Configuration Leader you will be responsible for planning, administration and coordination of software deliveries from all our design areas within R&D. You will be part of all steps in the software release chain from pre delivery activities, to software approval and distribution at the configuration request board meeting. You will work close together with program leaders at the electrical department, quality engineers, as well as integration leaders and integration test engineers. You will also have an interface towards all the delivering areas cross the complete electrical system which will provide you with a broad network cross R&D. Due to our future challenges with shorter time plans, more frequent software deliveries, new types of software as applications, software patches/partial updates, software download over the air we also need to develop new ways of working and you will be part of that transformation.

Main responsibilities

* Plan, administrate and coordinate software delivery and release activities
* Take part of software approval during configuration request board meetings
* Plan and coordinate integration testing of base tech software in boxcars
* Release and distribute documented software configurations to our test objects and production vehicles

Required qualifications

* Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or computer science/computer engineering
* 2-3 years experience of software configuration management
* Experience in branch design, labelling and tracking issues
* Experience of software and system design is meritorious
* Experience from electrical automotive development and vehicle programs as a software responsible or a lead engineer is meritorious
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
