Within the function “Planning, Purchasing and Product & Solutions Development” (PPP), the department for “Projects & Execution” is now looking for a Program Director Connectivity responsible for the execution of Volvo Penta´s Connectivity program end to end. The program itself is truly cross functional and shall deliver the full Connectivity product offering as well as building end-to-end capabilities within Volvo Penta through strong collaboration across the company functions.
As Program Director Connectivity, you will lead the program and guide the delivery to ensure the program’s target. You are responsible for leading the complete program in such a way that technical and commercial targets as well as strategic objectives are achieved. You will work cross functionally not only within Volvo Penta, but also within the Volvo Group to seek possibilities and synergies in the Connectivity area.

You will be part of the Projects & Execution’s leadership team and report to the Vice President Projects & Execution from line perspective (the program reports to steering committee of the program).
Key Responsibilities
As Program Director Connectivity you will have the following key responsibilities:
Develop the Connectivity and services execution roadmap for Volvo Penta’s initiatives
Secure an optimal Connectivity program by working with Volvo Penta’s different functions and other concerned Volvo Group functions
Secure and drive end-to-end capabilities within the Connectivity area for Volvo Penta
Secure a synchronized plan of milestones and deliverables
Secure that total resource and competence needs are assessed and optimized
Manage risks and actively work with risk mitigation
Coordinate the Connectivity and services Steering Committee
Drive the reference group for the Connectivity program with CPMs and other stakeholders
Competence Profile
Competence in connectivity systems and solutions
Well established network in the Connectivity area
Proven capability of managing complex projects or programs with high business impact
Strong leadership skills, bringing out the best in people and teams
Results oriented and “can-do-it” attitude
Excellent capability for collaboration and stake holder management
Holistic view, but with the ability to go into details when needed
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels
Structured and well organised
Master of Science or similar university degree
