Position description:

As Program engineer in the SQM organization, you will be a part of the global Cluster 40 team. SQM is responsible from development phase, supplier sourcing and launch a car project in the manufacturing plants.

For new Car Programs your task is to drive/support that the chosen commodity area meets correct technical requirement, supplier capability, quality and material status following SEP, supplier engagement process. The role is to be active and involved in development phases and secure that SQM voice of supplier technique, quality & timings are fulfilled, in specific commodity area. The role is also a support to program build events and launches in Swedish, Belgian or Chinese manufacturing plants.

The job is carried out in close cooperation with R&D, Program Management, Manufacturing Enginering and Plant management, Purchasing and Purchasing Program Management. As you have a lot of interfaces towards the company it is important that you like to be open and talk to people direct or via phone/mail.

You will work in a very global environment and regular travel (up to 50%) might be required.

Key Deliverables:
• Secure that SQM have close communication towards line organization of R&D , purchasing and plant launch team
• Make sure that timings are kept according to milestone and gateways (via APQP) for own area of responsibility cross projects.
• Lead priority supplier selection for its commodity
• Drive red and yellow APQP elements to resolution
• Follow up and hunt PPAP approvals according to program timings
• Drive and support Flawless Launches in the plants

• EXCEL (and other Microsoft SW)
• Sharepoint
• Benefit if you have knowledge in KDP
• Capable of working in a global, complex and continuously developing environment
