Within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Our Operations Department team serves our customers with equipment and after-market parts and has an end-to-end responsibility when it comes to our production sites, S&OP, Planning and Logistics, and Quality. The achievement of true operational excellence is now imperative to competitiveness. Therefore, we’re looking for a Program Lead to be the driver of Manufacturing Excellence and Industry 4.0 in the division.
Your mission
In this position, you take ownership of the development as you’re setting up our Manufacturing Excellence road map and plan and implement identified initiatives.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Driving Digitalization in Global Operations
Coordinating initiatives between production units
Establishing a global way of working in related local initiatives
Participating in and reviewing global and local initiatives
Establishing KPIs and track progress
Aligning and anchoring with Operations Management Team
Monitoring and evaluating new methods, tools and ways of working in the industry



Your profile
You have experience from working in and leading a similar set up with Manufacturing Excellence and Industry 4.0. We think that you might have been working with Operation Excellence at a large industrial company or as a management consultant, and preferably your experience is backed by a master’s degree in Engineering. As we act in a global setting, you need excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Your personality is key in this role – characterized by your solid stakeholder management and your ability to see what improvements need to be made. Your analytical side helps you make accurate decisions, and you feel comfortable standing up for your ideas and implementing change activities on a board level globally. In addition, you have a high self-drive, and your genuine communication skills make it easy for you to meet expectations and questions from people involved.
